I made a commitment to prioritize my mental health, and it changed everything. The best part? It didn’t require a complete lifestyle overhaul. Instead, I focused on small, sustainable habits that added up to a big transformation. Here are the five habits that made all the difference.

1. Morning Mindfulness

I used to wake up and immediately reach for my phone, scrolling through emails and social media before my feet even hit the floor. It set the tone for a chaotic, reactive day.

In 2025, I replaced that habit with a 10-minute mindfulness practice. Every morning, I sit quietly, focus on my breath, and set an intention for the day. Sometimes I use a guided meditation app, and other times I simply sit in silence.
